John DeWitt is a master builder.  My perfect steelhead rod was made by John.  It's an 11' 6 wt. SAGE XP with the single foot guides, the Fuji Gold Cermet.  The rod has brought me many years of pleasure, and I caught a 35" 26 lb. brown on the rod.

My favorite Alaskan salmon rod was also built by John.  It's a 9'6" 8 wt.
SAGE Xp with the Fuji Gold Cermet guides as well.  I have landed hundreds of silver salmon on the Kenai & Russian Rivers using that rod.

My newest DeWitt rod is a real beauty.  It's a 12' 9" 8 wt. SAGE Z-Axis spey rod that will be used on the Salmon River in New York this Fall.

John's rods are exceptional.  The quality of his rods far suprass that of the factory rods.
